Victorian Pathway Program (VPP), is the joint management committee of Victorian Institute of Sport (VIS) and Rowing Victoria (RV) that delivers the pathway for rowing in Victoria.

RV is responsible for the overall management, promotion and development of the sport and represents nearly 90 affiliated rowing clubs and 8,000 competitive and recreational members throughout the state. VIS delivers athlete management to all categorised athletes identified in the pathway program.

The VPP is looking to appoint a full-time State Pathway Coordinator who will be directly responsible for the successful delivery of campaigns focusing on underage athlete and coach pathways and the development of underage activities.

The 2020 Interstate Regatta selection policy and process has now been released and is available online here.

It is the Rowing ACT Board’s intention to maximise the ACT team’s presence at the regatta. While the priority consideration for selection will be potential performance in 2020, there may also be crews targeted in 2020 for their development potential over several years.

The Rowing ACT Board aspires to having an ACT Women’s Eight competing in the 2020 Interstate Regatta for the Queen’s Cup centenary. As such we encourage people to nominate for this and other events to provide us with the largest possible talent pool to choose from.

Nominations for the state team – including coxswains and coaches – close at 5pm on Friday 18 October, 2019. Nominations can be made via the link on the Team Selection Process document.
