Capital Lakes Rowing Club is running a school holiday rowing program from January 13-24, 2020. Click here for more program information and click here to complete the registration form.

Nominations for the Pathways Eights Program are now open. We are also re-opening nominations for the Youth Eights in the lead up to the first training camps happening at the start of December.

Pathways rowers must currently be attending Year 9, 10 or 11 at a Canberra School, while any rower under the age of 21 is able to nominate for the Youth program. Rowers may nominate for one or both of the programs.

See http://rowingact.org.au/state-team/ for more information & how to nominate.

The Pathway 8+ event is an interstate schoolboy/schoolgirl 8+ regatta held annually at Australian underage selection trials at the Sydney International Regatta Centre (In 2019 this event is currently scheduled around Easter  20th-23rd April, however exact dates will be confirmed in the new year). The aim of the pathway 8+ event is to expose school age rowers and coaches to the next level of rowing. It is a chance for young rowers to experience state selection processes, compete against their school age counterparts from around the country, to work with high level coaches and to encourage school rowers to make the next step in their rowing pathway. The pathway 8+ program involves them participating in regular development camps, state selection processes and crew experience outside their club/school program.
