Rowing ACT is excited to announce our very first Veteran’s Indoor Rowing Competition, made possible by the Community Services Directorate and ACT Government.
Invictus Australia is our community partner in the competition.
The competition will be held on the 19th of August 2023, in Canberra, with online entries from Sunday the 13th of August till Friday the 18th of August for people who can’t make on the day. The entry cost is covered by our grant from the Community Services Directorate, and we welcome everyone to have a go!

Entries close Sunday 6th of August 2023. Entrants must be over the age of 18. Available events are:
- 2000m
- 1000m
- 1 minute
- 4x 500m Relay
All events will be run under the standard age and gender categories for Indoor Rowing events.
IN-PERSON
In-person competition will be held on Saturday the 19th of August 2023, from 9am at the Canberra Grammar School Boat Shed in Yarralumla. Competitors will be emailed their race times prior to competition.
ONLINE ENTRIES
Anyone who can’t make it on the day is invited to compete online in the week leading up. This is extended to athletes from around Australia and the world. Information on online entries will be sent to competitors in the week following the close of entries.
