The World Junior championships started today in Austria with the ACT’s main interest being Nick Barnier in the JM2x with Sasha Belonogoff. They won their heat in the fastest time of the 6 heats, more than 10 secs in front of second. Their next race is the quarter finals – at 19:48 Thursday AEST. The “Live Race Viewer” can be seen here. An ex-ACT rower, Fergus Pragnall is in the M2+ boat and he also won his heat.
