Rowing ACT has a number of opportunities for interstate representation throughout the year. All ACT Interstate Team Selections are determined under the ACT Interstate Selection Policy (Including Masters Teams) whilst different processes are utilised for each team.

ACT Senior Interstate Team – 2026 Nominations have closed. Late nominations should be directed to headcoach@rowingact.org.au and will be considered at the discretion of selectors.
The ACT Interstate Team comprises of the 4 singles race, two lightweight races and the pinnacle of Australian Rowing, the King’s Queen’s Cup for the Senior Eights.

At the Interstate Regatta, two Youth Boats (U21) are raced – the Men’s and Women’s Eights
ACT Schools Pathways Team – 2026 Nominations are now closed
Following the nationals competition, each state selects a squad of school athletes to compete in the Schools Pathways Regatta in quads or eights.
ACT Masters Interstate Team – Nominations are now open and will close Monday 7th March – Nominate Here
The Masters Interstate Teams competes at the Australian Masters Rowing Championships. With the exception of the PR3 Singles, all crew boats must be of a D Age Category. The Masters Interstate Crews are Quads and Eights, as well as the PR3 Single. Masters Selection Policy is now covered in the ACT Interstate Team Selection Policy, with the team selection process for 2026 to be published in the coming months.
U22 Oceania Teams Rowing Championships – Nominations for the 2026 OTRC Team are now open – Nominate Here
A new competition for athletes aged 18 – 21, the Oceania Teams Rowing Championships brings athletes from all states and the two islands of New Zealand to compete in July 2025. The competition takes place over several days, with all rowers competing in small, medium and big boats.
