We would like to remind everyone that when reaching Kingston or the dam, don’t row to and from the turn on the same path – row across at least 100m to ensure you are not rowing back on the path others are using to approach the turn. [Note that the buoy marked on the traffic map at Kingston is missing.] Lake Burley Griffin water quality Currently there is a warning for swimming at the Black Mountain Peninsula swimming area.
