A seminar has been arranged for Wednesday 30 September at CGGS Aquatic Centre from 6.00pm till 7.00pm. The seminar will be a moderated panel discussion on the subject of making the jump which is the gap between sub elite programs at schools and clubs to the full time programs of universities and academies. The panel will be headed by Brian Richardson, former Australian coach and oarsman and Phil Bourgignon from SUBC who are in town for the university games. It will provide participants with an opportunity to ask the experts how to get the most out of their crews this season whilst maximising their chances of succeeding in the years to come. The seminar is ideally suited to current coaches in school or club programs and for those who would like to benefit from the perspective of the elite coach looking at junior athletes who may in the future come under their care. Club athletes are also welcome. There is no charge for the event.
