Buoys on Course removed

Following discussions with the NCA and with their approval, the association has unclipped buoys on the Yarramundi reach 1800m course before the logs had time to arrive from upstream yesterday.
James and I with assistance from Philip Winkworth have pulled up the buoys outside lanes 7, 5 and 3, leaving the buoys either side of lane 1, except near the 1800 to 1500m.
We removed all buoys at the 1800 to 1500 where the major flow exists.
Hopefully with much of the course now on the bottom of the lake it will be less vulnerable than last time.
The Association and our volunteers will be responsible for re-clipping the buoys once the lake is clear of debris and hopefully the cable network is still intact.
Enjoy your training on the land while the lake is closed.
