The selection
policy for ACT rowing representation at national championships in 2010 have been
released today. The policy can be found here.

The second regatta of the ACT season is scheduled for 21 November. The order of
events can be found here. Entries must be
submitted through your club and close with ACTRA on Wednesday, 11 November –
earlier with your club.

The results of todays regatta have been published here. The regatta was run in perfect conditions:
14-21�C with the breeze 7-15 kph from SSE through to ENE; cloudy
at first then clearing to beautiful spring day to be watching a regatta on
Yarramundi Reach.

Revised programme and draw are available now. These allow for a 5 minute race schedule
instead of the previous 4 minute schedule. This change is forced by Boat Race
Official availability. More BROs are required urgently.

Lake Burley Griffin partial closure – Sunday 15
November

The National Capital Authority has announced that LBG will be closed between Blue
Gum Point and Orana Bay during the period 09:00 to 13:30 on Sunday 15 November.
This to allow the running of the Telopea Open Swim. This will prevent traffic
leaving or entering Yarralumla Bay and the AIS jetties during this period.

NSWRA is advertising for an Administrative Officer and a Development Officer. Information is available from NSWRA and
applications close on 13 and 18 November respectively.

Please note that the start will be next to the Boathouse Restaurant, not at
Kingston Boat Harbour as previously advised.
