The Cliff Hill Shield recognises people who have made a significant contribution over time  

History

Rowing, like all amateur sports, owes much to a few. All such people can never be adequately recognised and the sport of today is built on their shoulders. 

Awarded sporadically from 1975, in 2014, it has been awarded annually as determined by the Rowing ACT board for continual dedication and support to Rowing ACT.
