The Sports Program Manager at ACTAS Andrew Stainlay, has indicated to Rowing ACT that the ACTAS Rowing Program will continue with “business as usual”.

The Rowing Association has been reassured that the ACTAS program will be unaffected by the budgetary difficulties that have been reported in the press.

Rowing ACT President, David Bagnall is keen to enhance the successful collaboration between ACTAS Head Rowing Coach Andrew Randall, and the ACT Rowing clubs.

“The current crop of ACT-based national representatives are indicative of the partnership that Andrew has forged locally since he arrived in January this year. We naturally would hope to continue this partnership over this and subsequent Olympiads.” Mr Bagnall commented.

“We are hopeful that ACTAS can continue to support local ACT athletes on their high performance pathway.”

The Come and Try Day will give individuals an opportunity to learn about our para-rowing program, check out the para-rowing facilities available, and have a go at rowing!
