ISRA is a major schools based competition that had been held annually for a number of years in Canberra. Set out below is information for competitors but all rowers need to be aware of the Event and the change in Lake rowing flows.

Rowing ACT received the following notice from the National Capital Authority
To users of Lake Burley Griffin
This is a courtesy email to bring to the attention of all Lake Users of 2 events being held on Lake Burley Griffin from Yarralumla Beach and in the water in West Lake.
Both the Telopea Swim Club and Sri Chinmoy are expected to be in the water between 8am and 1.00pm. Can all users be be conscious of these events and endeavour to avoid the area as detailed on the attached map if possible.

Entries for the Black Mountain Rowing Club regatta on 5 March 2011, close 5pm Wednesday the 23rd of February. Clubs that have not submited their entries by the deadline will not be able to participate.

The Rowing ACT Committee has approved the following squads for the 2011 ACT Kings Cup Team.
The Committee regrets the late announcement of these squads. However, it acknowledges that to the most part the rowers below are already well advanced in training to peak for competition at the National Championships regatta. Consequently, the Committee is confident that these are the strongest squads that the ACT can field for the 2011 Interstate Regatta.
For the 2012 Interstate Regatta the Board of Rowing ACT is committed to ensuring that squad announcement and preparation occurs much earlier in the season in order to foster an even stronger future ACT representation.
