News from the coaches of the 2005 Australian U23 crews Wednesday 20 July 2005 Hi all, Attended the opening ceremony this afternoon and have attached a few photos. The Australians were by far the most vocal there which was a lot of fun. Aussie! Aussie! Aussie! The final preparations have been completed and everyone is ready for the program to start tomorrow. All Australian crews will wear a black band as a mark of respect for Amy Gillett (nee Safe). Many on the team know Amy and/or Simon and our thoughts are with all those who have been affected by this tragic loss. More soon, Gordo
