Disher Cup Regatta - this Saturday 14 October

The 2006 Disher Cup regatta will be hosted by the Royal Military College Duntroon. A media release is available here. The order of events is as follows:

• 0800 Mens coxed four start
• 0815 Womens coxed four start
• 0840 Dragon Boat race
• 0900 Mens eight start
• 0945 Presentations

Drug Education Presentation by Victoria Roberts (Aust. Rep Rower) Next week Sport & Recreation ACT will be hosting an Australian Olympic Committee Live Clean Play Clean Drug Education presentation on Tuesday October 17 at the AIS. Please check out the programs website for further information. The presentation is aimed at educating Australias aspiring athletes (eg ACTAS squad members, SSO junior development squad members) on the issues surrounding drugs in sport. It is a fantastic opportunity for junior athletes from your organisation as well as their parents and coaches.
