Amy's Ride comes to Canberra - Sunday 14 March

An Amy Gillett Bike ride is being held in Canberra on Sunday 14th March. This is the second day of the ACT Rowing Championship Regatta.  Rowers are probably aware that Amy Gillett (nee Safe) was a dual world Junior Champion rower and rowing Olympian.  To support this worthwhile cause, ACTRA proposes that the regatta will stop to applaud the leading peloton as it passes. In addition, the ACT Championship womens 1X  will be dedicated to the memory of Amy Gillett.  For those from Amy’s generation of elite rowers get on your bike and contact Angie Holbeck.
