Persons wishing to join CLRC must either be competent rowers (as assessed by the club's coaching staff) or undertake a CLRC Learn to Row Course (see Rowing Programs). The course will teach students to scull and be in a position to decide whether or not they wish to pursue the sport. We recognise that rowing may not be suitable to everyone. We also recognise that not every club is suitable to everyone and will inform people of other opportunities to do rowing in Canberra.
Full membership includes sports injury insurance. If a member enters into races then they must also pay the ACTRA registration for the racing season and the seat fee applicable for each race.
There are no separate junior fees because a boat and oars cost the same no matter the age of the rower.
If a member is experiencing difficulty in paying membership fees, the matter can be discussed with the club President and Treasurer.
All prices include GST.
