Elite Representation

Since CLRC’s inception two rowers who learned to row at the club have been selected for ACTAS scholarships. These are:

Tom Westgarth. Tom was awarded an ACTAS scholarship and represented Australia in the 2002 Under 23 World Championship Regatta where he placed fourth in the Men’s Quad Scull. At the 2003 Australian National Regatta Tom won the Men's Under 23 Single Scull, the Men's Under 23 Double Scull and the Men's Open Quad Scull. Tom then won the Gold Medal in the Men's Quad Scull at the Under 23 World Championship Regatta in 2003.

Grant Hardy. Grant won the Under 19 Single Scull at the 2001 Australian National Regatta and was awarded an ACTAS scholarship later that year.
