Rowing Coaching Modules (ACT)

Level 1 Coaching Course

The Level 1 Coaching Course is the introductory coaching course. It is the basic qualification for all people wanting to coach rowing or sculling.

The Level 1 Coaching Course gives you:

The course generally commences on a Friday evening and continues on half of Saturday and Sunday.

Level 1 course fees must be paid in advance and cover registration fees, manuals, workbooks, venue hire, equipment hire, presenters fees, morning and afternoon teas, light lunches and supper on the Friday evening.

Level 2 Coaching Qualification

The Level 2 Coaching Qualification is reached through attending specific high performance seminars and private study. The Level 1 Qualification is a prerequisite. Subjects commonly covered are:

Level 2 module fees cover presenters fees, equipment hire and venue hire, but do not include manuals, which may be purchased at extra cost, and registration fees which must be paid when you have completed all Level 2 requirements and are seeking accreditation.

Please note that ALL interested rowers and coaches are welcome to attend Level 2 modules (particularly the Advanced Technique module) provided they pay the advertised cost. This applies whether you are planning to undertake Level 2 accreditation or not.

All modules/seminars qualify for Level 1 and Level 2 updating points.
