Introduction to Rowing open for applicants

The dates and details of this season’s Introduction to Rowing course have been published and applications are invited for those who are interested. The details are on our Beginners page.

Places for this years' course have been filled. If you are interested in being informed of future opportunities please send an email to canberrarowingintro@gmail.com. As we only require your email address a short email stating 'I'm interested in trying out rowing' is perfect. We will inform you by group email in future of any further opportunities.

CRC Annual Dinner
‘On the Water’

It’s freezing, the lake is dark and only the bravest and hardiest (or the silliest and most foolhardy) of our club members are braving the early mornings to get their rowing fix. Nevertheless, spring is on its way and with it the start of the new season. That means it’s time for *Drumroll please* the magnificent CRC Annual Dinner!!!
Friday 12 October 2012  6.30pm Eastlake Football Club, Kingston
The theme for the evening will be ‘On the Water’ (a highly original thought) and I’m hoping we’ll have a huge turnout (numbers are limited to about 120 so get your RSVP in quick smart!!).
Come in your best ‘on the water’ costume – wear your zootie (clean ones only please!!), dress as the ship’s captain, a pirate, or even your favourite sea creature. Best costume wins a prize.
We’re hoping to have a raffle, a silent auction, and a couple of door prizes also (donations will be sought over coming weeks)
So bring your crew, bring your significant other and come enjoy the company of your fellow CRC-ers.
Salient details:
Venue: Eastlake FC – corner of Oxley and Eyre Streets
Cost: $50 per person (covers food, venue hire etc.), drinks can be purchased on the night
Dress: Smart casual/ in theme

NOTE – we cannot reserve places without full payment

Via the blue box or to the CRC account with the following reference
Number of people you are paying for, AD (annual dinner) and Surname and initial  eg: “3AD McCallumR”
Please also send an email to sally@djclear.com.au and to mccallumbec@gmail.com so we know who you’re paying for and can check for your payment. Please also let us know any dietary requirements (gluten free, vegetarian etc) and if you have a seating preference (who you’d like to sit with)… We’ll do our best to accommodate them.
