International successes for club members

Two of our club members have had international successes in the past couple of weeks...

Angus Moore rowing in the JM4+ came third at the Junior World Rowing Championships at Racice in the Czech Republic. Angus’ other crew members were from WA, NSW and Qld.

David Wright sculling with Riley Owen (ANU) in the M2x came third at the World University Games last weekend at Szeged in Hungary.

Congratulations and thanks for being an inspiration to the rest of us.

Rowing Australia is conducting a survey of rowers to find out what they expect from online services relating to rowing. You are encouraged to participate.

2010-11 Regatta Dates decided

Rowing ACT has decided the dates of the ACT regattas for the 2010-11 season. They are now in the CRC calendar. The regattas and dates are:
24 October 2010 Col Panton Marathon
6 November 2010 Capitol Lakes
20 November 2010 Daramalan
4 December 2010 Canberra Rowing Club
5 February 2011 CEGGS
19 February 2011 CGS
5 March 2011 Black Mountain
19 & 20 March 2011 ACT Championships: Radford
In early May a potential date for a sprint regatta to be allocated to ANUBC
